Sunny Weather Brightens Up Seattle

Hamsika

This week in Seattle, the sun has graced its presence several times. This has left residents cheerful and in a much brighter mood. Most of Seattle's residents are very grateful when the sun makes its occasional appearance. The bright sky lights up the entire skyline, along with stunning views of Mount Rainier.

This unexpected pleasant weather has been a warm welcome, after the fierce snow during the end of last year. Snowfall as much as 3 to 5 inches covered the city on night of Christmas. Snowfall continued on and off throughout the last week of the year. This left many residents and businesses closed due to dangerous road conditions. However, the since freezing weather has seemed to have gone. Thus, the 50 degree Fahrenheit weather has been a pleasant change.

Small talk among most residents have mentioned that the weather brings about a more cheerful spirit. Most have taken to the outdoors to embrace the weather, before the city is covered by clouds again. On Sunday, January 9th, the streets were filled with several walking around and taking in the picturesque sunset. Many have taken to social media to post pictures of gorgeous views of Seattles skyline, including National Weather Service of Seattle on the evening of January 12th.

Residents hope the weather continues to improve throughout the week and into the long weekend. However, we can probably anticipate moderate rainfall. Clear skies are quite unlikely according to current predictions by meteorologist at weather.com. This is anticipated as Seattle is infamous for very few bright days throughout the winter months.
