When word of the [Village Market] closing spread, many Grocery Outlet customers who would drive to Truckee or Reno started to phone, pleading with us to operate within Incline Village, according to co-owner Ryan Parrish. Ryan Parrish took it upon himself to seek out the property owner and start intensive conversations after realizing the demand.
Ryan and Shannon Parrish, the proud owners of the Grocery Outlet store in Truckee, along with their children, successfully opened their first store in June 2020. The Tahoe Daily Tribune reported that they anticipate the new Incline Village store to open its doors by the end of 2023, following substantial interior remodeling. Grocery Outlet has existing locations in South Lake Tahoe, Reno, and Carson City.
