Bengal tiger in his Harlem apartment in 2003 after he went to the hospital with “dog bites.” Shortly afterwards, an anonymous tipster called the NYPD, who began to investigate. The city Housing Authority had reported complaints from neighbors about strong odors of cat urine, but there was never any mention of wild animals.
