Rookies who need to step up in 2021

The "Good Morning Football" crew had a recent video where they talked about what rookies need to step up in 2021.

So, what rookies need to step up the most to help their teams in 2021?

Trevor Lawrence

Peter went with Trevor Lawrence. He said because he is already that "guy." So, the pressure is already high for Trevor Lawrence. He hasn't even taken a snap and he is the face of the franchise in Jacksonville.

Then, Peter went on to say that he believes Trevor could even be "in the top 16" of NFL quarterbacks in his first season. He is "that good and that polished."

Najee Harris

Nate Burleson went with Najee Harris because of the fact that he kind of fell in the draft a bit and the Steelers had a terrible rushing offense last year. So, the Steelers went out there and addressed that problem.

Harris can do it all, similar to an Alvin Kamara type. He is exactly what the Steelers are missing. And Big Ben is going to need someone he can hand the ball off to.

Kyle Pitts & Micah Parsons

Kim mentioned two names. The first was Kyle Pitts. This one is obvious. Kyle Pitts looks like he can be a future Hall of Famer at the tight end position. Let me ask you this: who is going to cover Kyle Pitts?

She also picked Micah Parsons (LB). Parsons is very versatile and is going to be able to come in and make a difference immediately.

Zach Wilson

Kay went with Zach Wilson. I agree with this pick. Trevor Lawrence will be good, but he has a lot of pressure and expectations to try and meet.

I think the expectation is a little bit lower with Wilson. I could see Wilson coming away with offensive rookie of the year.
