If you are a lover of breakfast food, you know there’s nothing like a hot, make-from-scratch breakfast served up just the way you like it. If you’re the kind of person who would rather sit back while someone else does all the cooking, there are a handful of breakfast-centric restaurants around greater Phoenix that cater specifically to hungry patrons just like you. And, recently, one of the top names in serving up breakfast around Arizona has announced it will not only open one new destination in the Valley but seven over the next two years.

Over Easy made a name for itself in the breakfast world, but it isn’t an exclusively breakfast-only destination. With operating hours typically spanning from 6:30 AM until 2 PM every day of the week (although exact hours may vary slightly depending on the exact location) guests can enjoy both breakfast and lunch options, which span from Belgian waffles to salads and sandwiches. You will find more of the same at the new restaurants as they begin to open, starting early next year.

The first of the new seven restaurants will open in Tempe beginning this coming February. Plans are to then have two additional restaurants opened by the middle of the year, in Peoria and Queen Creek, respectively. Expansion for the local breakfast chain won’t end there. In 2025, a new location in Buckeye, Phoenix, Gilbert, and Goodyear will also improve your ability to stop by and grab some breakfast or lunch, served up with your favorite morning beverage.

There are currently eleven locations scattered around metro Phoenix. Another location is also available in Flagstaff, as well as a rather random location in Tavernier, Florida. With both indoor and outdoor seating, plus ample interior space, Over Easy has become one of the go-to destinations for breakfast eaters in the area.

If you have yet to stop by an Over Easy restaurant, the classic menu options include The OG Wolfpack (two eggs, bacon, choice of cheese, served between hash browns and topped with sausage gravy, ranchero sauce, plus the option to add green chili and fried chicken), Breakfast Burrito, Steak and Eggs, Basil Melt, Corned Beef Hash, and Loko Moko (sunny side up egg, ground beef patty, fried onion crisps, mushroom gravy, served on top of sticky rice).

If you are more of a pancakes or waffle fan, some of the available options include banana, strawberry, blueberry, Reese’s Pieces, M&M, and chocolate chip pancakes, plus various waffles and cinnamon french toast.
