Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. And for those who enjoy a bit of sweetness in the morning, there’s nothing like well-made pancakes and other goodies during breakfast. To help satisfy those early food cravings, a popular breakfast destination in metro Phoenix is expanding to a third location.

Butters Pancakes & Cafe is opening a third location, this time on the north side of Scottsdale. For anyone who hasn’t visited one of the other two locations, Butters Pancakes & Cafe features a large menu, with nearly a dozen variations of pancakes, plus freshly squeezed juices, eggs, and french toast. Basically, it checks off all the boxes for breakfast. But the joint isn’t only about satisfying the early morning cravings. It also has a fresh and vibrant lunch menu as well, with everything from burgers and sandwiches to wraps and salads. There’s even a kid’s brunch menu for those little picky eaters that are hungry but can’t finish the larger adult plates.

Pancakes really are the name of the game at Butters Pancakes & Cafe. There are both buttermilk and gluten-free pancakes which can serve as a blank palette for adding fruit, cinnamon, or other syrups (which the restaurant refers to as a “glaze”). There are also strawberry chocolate chip pancakes, Oreo Cookie S’Mores, Swedish, Banana Cream, and others. Many of these flavors are also available as waffles, for anyone who enjoys the extra crunch a Belgian waffle brings to the table. And for those breakfast eaters who prefer savory over sweet, on the menu they will find a fried egg sandwich, Huevos Ranchero, plus several variations of benedicts, bacon, and grits.

The original Butters Pancakes & Cafe has been a staple in the greater Phoenix community for over 40 years. It doesn’t take expanding lightly, and it only does so to help bring its fresh flavors to the community. The menu at the new North Scottsdale location, including the kid's and lunch portions, will be the same as the other two destinations, so anyone who is familiar with Butters Pancakes & Cafe will feel right at home in the new restaurant.

The new Scottsdale location is open at 7000 East Mayo Blvd (#1032). It is open from 6:30 PM until 2:30 PM seven days a week. The other two locations, found at 14795 Northsight Blvd and 8300 North Hayden Road (#F104) have the same hours of operation.
