Metro Phoenix has been one of the fastest-growing regions in the United States for years. With plenty of space to expand in The Valley, it makes for an attractive destination for both small and large contractors. And now, a new 700,000 square foot development is coming, which will be packed full of restaurants, shops, and destinations.

Set on the west side of The Valley in Surprise, locals will see the development continue to spring up from the desert along Loop 303 Estrella Freeway (right along the Waddell Road Exit).

The development, which is being handled by SimonCRE, a West Coast development company, said that the Village at Prasada (which is the name of the 700,000 square foot center), is already 90% rented out. This will allow shoppers and restaurant-goers the ability to take advantage of the space right away when it opens in 2022.

There will be a wide collection of restaurants. Award-winning Barrio Queen will take up residence at the Village at Prasada, as well O.H.S.O., which gives guests the ability to take advantage of a craft brewery. Other restaurants are yet to be named, although there will be a movie theater, arcade, and bowling alley as well.

For anyone looking at retail outlets, there will be a number of popular and familiar destinations, including Marshalls, TJ Maxx, Home Goods, Ross Dress For Less, PetSmart, and Sprouts Farmers Market. These are the major, tentpole tenants, and plans to announce the smaller tenants will start in the coming months, so make sure to stay tuned to announcements from the Village at Prasada

The idea of the new destination is to give locals on the west side of The Valley a destination to be able to shop, eat, and seek out entertainment. In short, it will be a one-stop shop for everything locals may want.

Barrio Queen is one of the most recognized names in Mexican food here in metro Phoenix. If there is an award for Mexican food in the state of Arizona Barrio Queen has likely taken it home. It specializes in fine dining Mexican food, giving guests more than the everyday tacos most of the other Mexican joints in town offer.

O.H.S.O Brewery + Distillery is a restaurant and brewery all in one. It’s also a dog-friendly destination, so the furry friends don’t need to remain at home when going out. There are already a few other O.H.S.S. locations around metro Phoenix, including Arcadia, Gilbert, Scottsdale, and Paradise Valley.
