For lovers of craft beer, things are now just a little bit easier to enjoy a pint, served up alongside an elaborate menu, in downtown Phoenix with the opening of Pedal Haus.
If the name “Pedal Haus” sounds familiar it’s because there are two other locations here in The Valley. The newest release of the local beer house and restaurant will be tucked away in the Roosevelt Row Arts District.
The beers on tap are brewed right here in Phoenix by Pedal Haus. Many of the beers are staples and remain on tap throughout the year, although some seasonal beers do switch out. Some of the beers you’ll currently find on tap at the downtown location include Day Drinker Light Lager, Peppermint Chocolate Porter, American Stout, Pedal Haus Pils, Mexican Amber Lager, and their take on the Belgian-Style Tripel.
Each menu is slightly different based on the location. Currently, the restaurant includes starters such as a Bavarian pretzel, Piled High Nachos, and Shishito Peppers. You’ll also find several pub burgers, salads, beer battered fish and chips, not to mention a handful of gluten-free and vegan options (like their cauliflower wings and green chile vegan burger).
It is important to note for anyone interested in visiting the downtown Phoenix location is it is cashless. So, make sure to bring along your debit or credit card to pay.
The new downtown location is open for both dine-in and takeout orders. On Monday through Thursday, the restaurant is open from 4 PM until 10 PM. On Friday, it’s open from 4 PM until midnight, Saturday it’s 11 AM until midnight, and on Sunday it is open from 10 AM until 10 PM. If you’re looking to save a few bucks when eating out, Pedal Haus does have a happy hour running from 4 to 6:30 PM Monday through Thursday and 11 AM until 6:30 PM on Friday. Happy hour includes $2 off specified beers for the day, well drinks, margaritas, and certain starters. You can also grab a stein for $7.
If you haven’t had a chance to try Pedal Haus yet, the newest location is now open and ready to serve. And should the downtown Phoenix destination be too out of the way for you, don’t worry. A fourth Pedal Haus is in the works and will open sometime next year (although no official announcement has been made yet as to where in The Valley it will open).
