(Casa Grande, AZ) – The Desert Sky Mustang Car Club is giving back to communities that give so much.

For the last couple of months, Casa Grande based club has been holding their “Mission Possible” water drive. They asked all their members to donate water and then that water will be donated to the Casa Grande Food Bank, as they work to help those in need this summer.

According to John Mihalic, club president, they are just happy to give back where they can. “In 2020 we included supporting our local law enforcement as well as our AZ DPS station here in town as they hand out water to those in need during the summer and have continued since.”

On Saturday, June 18, the club will be gathering water at water drop locations and they are aiming to donate 8 pallets of water to those in need this summer. The group will collect all the water donations from the last few months in the morning and then deliver it to the food bank that day.

The Desert Sky Mustang Car Club holds several events throughout the year including the Annual Mustang Roundup and Poker Run in Coolidge, The Devil’s Highway Run 2022, and the Annual Light Parade meet-up in Eloy.

If you would like to donate water this summer, Mihalic recommends you deliver it directly to the food bank in your area. Homeless shelters may also be in need of water donations.
