(Pinal County, AZ) - After a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19, the Pinal County Fair is scheduled to open for five days, beginning March 16.

There will be tons of great entertainment during the five-day event. Music headliners include La Brissa, a high-energy Hispanic band that is set to get everyone up on their feet and dancing.

Misti Todd is the executive director of the Pinal County Fairgrounds and Event Center. She tells NewsBreak that music is just one part of the entertainment equation. “We have Louie Foxx, who is an incredible magician featured on America’s Got Talent. He’ll be one of the stage performers.”

“Louis is new to the area, and we are very excited to have him join us for this prestigious event,” she adds. “We are also looking forward to Skip Banks, balloon artist Stephen Rosen, and much more. For those that can make it out to the fair, we highly recommend it.”

While many people come to the fair for the tasty eats & treats, there are certainly other things to do when you're not sampling the culinary goods. You may want to engage in some fun, competitive events that suit one of your talents. From categories ranging from preparing handmade food items like jams and jellies to creative endeavors like photography and quilting, you can enter one of the contests to see how you rate. In some cases, prizes are awarded.

If you would like to participate in any of the competitive parts of the Pinal County Fair, you can get information on doing so on their website at pinalfairgrounds.com.

If checking out all the action rather than entering a competition is more your speed, this event is packed with rides and much to see and do. There's no shortage of vendors and other exhibits to check out.
