(Pinal County, AZ) - Pinal County is growing rapidly. As with any new developing and growing area, many families are now calling the region home and they are often on the lookout for family-friendly dining options. Luckily, there are plenty of choices.

Two of the largest areas of growth over the last few years are San Tan Valley and the City of Maricopa and county officials say they expect that trend to continue as well as to see new growth heading to Apache Junction and Queen Creek.

Florence offers a good mix of local eats, including a few wineries for the adults. If you are searching for family bites, check out A&M Pizza located on Highway 287.

For Mexican food, head to South Main Street and stop by LB Cantina. The spot has been there for more than three dozen years. The menu is loaded with Sonoran-style homemade dishes. Burgers and sandwiches like a grilled cheese with green chiles round out the menu.

Some other great spots to check out include the Florence Fudge Shop & Café, Mount Athos Restaurant & Café, and the River Bottom Grill.

To chow down on in the San Tan Valley, be sure to do your research ahead of time because there are a lot of joints to choose from. Some of the top-rated spots in the area include Queen Creek Olive Mill, Native Grill & Wings, Kiyoshi Teriyaki & Sushi, and Greek Island Grill. Having so many options should help you find a place to satisfy everyone in your party.

In this area, a hotspot for Mexican food is Plaza Bonita. 347 Grill is another restaurant in the area. It serves bar fare in a casual environment where TVs keep you up on the latest sports action.

If you don’t mind taking the family to a casino, there is a spot to check out inside Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino. Chop Block and Brew is a steakhouse that customers report offers a laid-back feeling and is very family-friendly.

Encore Family Restaurant and La Paloma Family Restaurant are places you can check out in Eloy, while Coolidge features Pita Patio Grill, Casa Palomino Mexican Restaurant, Gallopin’ Goose, Dragon City Chinese Restaurant – and again, lots of fast-food spots.

No matter what sort of food options you are looking for, Pinal County certainly has you covered. From Greek to Chinese, American to Indian, elevated cuisine to serious comfort food – and everything in between, residents and visitors have ample selections.
