These 5 Most Disturbing Anime Moments Have Been Memed Too Much and They Are Almost Too Painful To Rewatch
(Still from "Fullmetal Alchemist") When we are asked about the most famous anime scenes, our first thoughts are usually those amazing fight scenes in the Shonen anime like My Hero Academia, or just funny, overly dramatic scenes in Jojo's bizarre adventure. Believe it or not, some scenes are much more famous among the anime community but are too cruel to watch again. Those scenes usually involve unpredictable death, dark twist, or simply just extreme violence you cannot take as a normal human being. I am sure that you have seen some toxic memes about them, and you even feel wrong to laugh at them. You refuse to remember these moments.

When I saw the Doki Doki Literature Club poster for the first time, I immediately thought this is just another basic Gal-Game from Japan - the main characters are just basic high school girls, and they all fall in love with you for some reason. You make choices while playing, and different choices will lead to dating different girls in the end. You can also collect different CGs in the game gallery and put all your cute anime wives on your desktop. Sounds totally weeb, right? But I found those games very boring, and I have never played one before.

(Still from "Kagerou Project" /sohu.com) There is a regular pattern of starting a new anime. The first episode is always the best, and so many people added the anime to their weekly watch list. Starting from episode 2, the show will slowly become sloppy - the quality of drawing becomes worse and worse, and editing starts to make no sense. This is a fact for a lot of Japanese anime in recent days.

Sometimes I get tired of playing games with other people. I will take the Switch out from the console stand, lie on my bed and play some single-player games until the sun rises. I don't consider myself a real gamer because I rarely play horror games by myself (yes, I am a coward), and I wouldn't say I like playing games with an open world like Zelda. I only play indie games that can be finished within 2 or 3 days and, of course, a lot cheaper. These games usually are never at the top of the sales rank, and they are not exposed as much as other Nintendo games. But it doesn't mean that they are not good games. Some of them have much more unique aesthetics.

Slam Dunk and The Prince of Tennis were part of my childhood. Those classics opened the gate of Japanese anime for me, and I have always been a sports anime fan since then. Whenever new shows are coming out, the keywords I would search for are baseball, volleyball, tennis, basketball, etc. But at the same time, I know clearly that a lot of these shows exaggerate the sports pretty crazily - if you have watched Kuroko No Basket, you know what I am talking about. Each basketball match almost feels like a magical fight, and the characters have their personal special skills that could help them win the match. They would even yell out the name before using the skill - I can't hold my laugh by imagining it happening on a basketball court in real life.

I am here to help you out with my personal reviews of some games you should purchase after getting your brand new console.

Many people have asked me questions about where to start learning Japanese, and I usually tell them, "just go watch anime." That is usually how most people learn their first couple of Japanese words, and the fastest way to pick up Japanese is by watching anime. But you have to know that native Japanese speakers do not converse as those characters do in anime. You will rarely hear "OMAE WA MOU SHIN DEIRU (you are already dead)" in any circumstances except in Jojo's Bizarre Adventure.

(Still from "Ponyo" by Studio Ghibli) As we slowly get our lives back on track from the lockdown, Los Angeles traffic becomes nerve-wracking again. You can get stuck on a freeway without moving forward an inch for fifteen minutes sometimes, and you always find it hard to stay awake after a long, tiring day. You turn on the radio and are tired of those pop music you hear every single day. Well, if you are the only one driving, it is time for your weeb side to wake up - turn up the volume and imagine yourself to be the top class hero who could finish the villains with one punch.

If you are a fan of Japanese culture or interested in collecting Asian pottery or furniture, this is a place you would hate to miss in Los Angeles. It is located near Little Tokyo, hidden on the second floor of a very small building on Seaton Street. I scheduled a visit and treasure hunt with my friends, and Peter was very responsive and welcoming. I was shocked by the first glance of it - this is a heaven for interior designers and film production designers. When I stepped in there, my attention was immediately attracted to all those delicate Geisha dolls in glass boxes next to the entrance. It feels like I traveled from Los Angeles to Tokyo in one second.

I still remember the days when I was watching League of Legends World Championship 2015 at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. Here I am again, after five years of stepping away from the game, watching the Worlds with my old teammates from college but with everything online instead. That Ezriel action figure is still sitting on my desk. The feeling is very complicated - I am never a great player and there were so many times that I uninstalled the game because of the toxic players (Thanks Rito). But I started playing the game again because of the quarantine, still as a support main just like five years ago. It is always an important game and brings back so many good memories of my college life.
