I wasn't completely overwhelmed by the experience. Having already visited the Space Needle the day before, it was almost like going on a kiddie ride at the fair.
For a family of 5, we paid $70. Adult tickets are $15 and youth tickets are $10. Per person isn't so bad if it just you and one other person, but when you've already seen all of the other sights in Seattle, this one fell short.
The wait line for tickets was about 15 minutes, followed by another 20 or so to get on the wheel. Once on the wheel, it is air-conditioned and the seats are very comfortable. The view is pretty once the wheel begins going, but it is over before you know it. This would be great for a first date or a couple traveling here to experience Seattle, but for a family with kids, it just doesn't seem worth the price for the length of time that you are actually on the wheel.
