BLT wraps

Today, I'd like to share my take on how I create BLTs in tortilla wraps. This recipe will make six stuffed 10-inch bacon, lettuce, tomato, and cheese tortilla wraps. The BLT wraps are extremely delicious and super simple to prepare.

Ingredients for 6 BLT wraps:

  • 6 (10-inch) flour tortillas
  • 1 pound of bacon, cooked and chopped
  • Half of a head of Romaine lettuce, shredded
  • 1 large tomato, chopped
  • 1 cup of shredded cheese
  • Miracle Whip salad dressing, enough to smear on the inside of the soft-shell flour tortillas

Instructions:

First, cook the bacon to your preference. Then chop it into bite-sized pieces. Set aside.

To shred the lettuce, lay it on a cutting board and cut it into thin slivers. I just leave the lettuce as it is and slice through the whole head until I have enough of it cut. Place the prepared lettuce in a bowl.

Now, coarsely chop the tomato on a cutting board. Then toss the pieces in the bowl with the cut lettuce. Add the prepared bacon and the cheese; toss the ingredients together with a salad fork.

Next, smear as much or as little salad dressing on the inside of the flour tortillas. Then add heaping spoonfuls of the BLT salad mixture to the center of the tortillas.

Fold the side ends of the tortilla inward. Then wrap the bottom edge of the tortilla inward, and then do the same for the top edge. Your wrap should look just like a burrito once it's made. Repeat the same methods for each BLT wrap. Serve and enjoy!

Comments are turned off due to rudeness and hatefulness. The world has enough vulgarity, hatefulness, and arrogance without it having any help. Since having the simple courtesy of manners is lacking and sharing words of kindness does not abide in a few people. Those few people ruin what's supposed to be educational and an enjoyable experience for all others. Gin Lee does have children and young adults that are followers. Potty mouths, vulgarity, and hate are not acceptable. Apologies go out to those of you who generally are very sweet and also to Gin Lee's followers who have been a witness to others being rude and malicious. Hopefully, you'll be understanding of the measures that have to be put into place. Please be kind to one another.
