Dog Hugs Owner as ‘Thank You’ After Every Walk

A little gratitude can go a long way.

Let’s just get one thing clear — we don’t deserve dogs. They are too good for this world, and human beings are lucky to have them.

It’s no secret that dogs love their owners, and they are some of the most adoring pets a person can have. This fact was proven in a recent TikTok video that’s gone viral where TikTock user Lunatheminicockapoo shows just how grateful his dog is.

In a video that has amassed millions of views, the text reads:

“My dog gives me a thank you hug every time we go out.”

Yes, it’s exactly as it sounds, but the video is much more heartwarming than your imagining.

Pets feel emotions too.

After several years of hardship, and looking at our lives now, we have a lot to be grateful for. And this little dog, Luna, is no exception.

Luna is a mix between a cocker spaniel and a poodle. She lives in an apartment complex with her owner.

In the video, we see Luna walking off the elevator with her owner. Once they arrive at the front door, Luna jumps up onto her hind legs and wraps her front paws around her owner’s body, in a gesture that looks like a hug.

A little gratitude goes a long way.

This video is truly precious. Not only do we have a cute puppy, but we have a puppy who is so grateful to be with her owner and to be able to spend time with him. So much so, that she thanks him routinely for taking her outside for a little walk.

The video has over 632,000 likes, as well as over 3,700 comments of people sharing their thoughts about this video.

One TikTok user, Geegee, wrote: “the dog has more respect than some humans”.

While another wrote, “that dog appreciates everything you do for him and he is so happy.”

There’s a reason dogs are known as man’s best friend, and this video is the perfect exemplification of that.
