(ATLANTA, Ga.) Two new affordable housing developments are being built near Greenbriar Mall.
Atlanta’s leading economic development organization, Invest Atlanta, recently closed on the housing projects which are expected to cost around $130 million.
The new buildings are expected to have close to 500 units of affordable housing.
The first building, Paramount, is planned as a multifamily complex with 240 apartments and the second building, Briar Park, would bring 244 units reserved for independent senior housing — hosting tenants ages 55 and older, according to Urbanize Atlanta.
Both developments are expected to finish construction and open in 2023.
