APS polling sites

Some Atlanta Public Schools (APS) will be used as polling sites in the mayoral run-off elections Tuesday, Nov. 30. Schools will operate as normal and security measures will be in place to ensure safety and students and staff.

The Nutcracker returns to Cobb County

A seasonal tradition is returning to Cobb County's Jennie T. Anderson Theater this winter. Georgia Ballet's "The Nutcracker" tickets are currently on sale for its December show.

Plant a tree, send a card

Trees of Atlanta's new initiative combines holiday cards and tree planting. This holiday season the organization is planting a tree with each $25 donation received. In addition to the planted tree, a card and envelope will be sent out to the donor and is able to be customized to send out to a loved one.

Avoid auto theft this holiday season

The Atlanta Police Department (APD) is citing this holiday season as one of the busiest and is giving tips to stay safe while out and about. APD posted reminders to be aware of your surroundings and be mindful of little things you can do to minimize becoming a victim of a crime.
