A step closer to affordable housing

On Monday, the Atlanta City Council passed legislation to move forward with the "Building the Beloved Community Affordable Housing Trust Fund." This initiative will ensure that two percent of the general fund is allocated for building and preserving affordable housing in Atlanta.

Give back this holiday season

The Atlanta Police Department is partnering with Life Shine Ministries for a Thanksgiving food drive. This Saturday, residents can stop by Zone 3's Precinct and drop off donations for families and individuals in need. Turkeys and non-perishable food items will be accepted at the event.

ATL Parks community meeting

Residents o Atlanta are invited to attend the first Community Meeting for the ParksandRecreation Departn's Infrastructure Program. The meeting will allow board members to discuss the upcoming project tasks as well as give residents a chance to provide feedback.

Dine out for a cause

The Atlanta Community Food Bank is partnering with Davio's Steakhouse to celebrate the reopening of the establishment Tuesday evening. The event will provide appetizers, food stations and an open bar. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Food Bank.
