Atlanta City Council committee advocates for airport cleaning staff

In a recent meeting, a committee with the Atlanta City Council is urging its counterparts to increase airport cleaning staff's pay to $15 an hour. This suggestion comes after many companies see a shortage of staff due to unfair and low wages. Currently, Georgia’s minimum wage is $5.15 an hour, but employers are generally subject to the federal minimum wage of $7.25 an hour.
