It's time to get spooky!

Mark your calendars for the upcoming Fall Festival with the DeKalb County Police Department. The event is free for all attendees and will feature food, candy, prizes and more.

$3,000 bonus? Yes, please!

Currently, the Atlanta Public Schools district is offering a $3,000 bonus in efforts to recruit more virtual teachers. This comes after an influx of students preferred to switch from in-person learning to virtual classes. The job would start mid-year at the new mid-year with the Atlanta Virtual Academy.

Not bad for the industry baby

Lil Nas X had a day he'll never forget because it was named after him. The 22-year-old rapper was born and raised in the northwest Atlanta Bankhead neighborhood and flew to the city for a homecoming event where he was honored with a proclamation by the city council.

Save the trees!

The city of Decatur hosted an open house to discuss a proposed revision to the city’s tree ordinance. The City Commission is considering amendments to the tree canopy conservation ordinance, including additional protection for trees located on single-family residential, townhomes and multiple-family residential properties.
