Celebrate Star Wars Day with these fun activities around Atlanta

(ATLANTA, Ga.) May 4th is a big day for Star Wars fans, as it encourages a global appreciation of the franchise from fans. Cleverly known as ‘May the fourth (be with you), the annual celebration includes activities for fans to get involved with the galaxy far far away.

While this year may look a little different in terms of gatherings, there are still businesses that are getting into the Star Wars spirit and allowing customers to come out and celebrate.

If you’re in the city of Atlanta or around, here are some fun activities you can partake in:

Star Wars Menu

Head over to Local Three Kitchen + Bar for a customized menu supporting the movie and its beloved characters. Customers will experience “Star Wars” themed dishes and are encouraged to participate in a costume contest.

Food options include lightsaber-seared mountain trout, foraged Kashyyyk vegetable ramen, Tatooine strawberries with Jar Jar beets, Bobafettuccini a la Diavolo and The McMandalorian.

Star Wars Trivia

Stop by The Nest in Kennesaw and put your Star Wars knowledge to the test. Come prepared to answer questions like What species stole the plans to the Death Star, Who was Count Dooku's padawan before he left the Jedi, What did Hans Solo and Luke Skywalker ride on in the snow while in Hoth?

Star Wars Movie Night

Enjoy the Star Wars movie on the big screen at Kinstone River in Atlanta. Attendees will receive pre-packaged popcorn and other treats. Social distance measures will be implemented to ensure safety for all guests.

Star Wars Day at The Blue Ribbon Grill

The Blue Ribbon Grill in Tucker is hosting an all-day Star Wars celebration. The restaurant will feature decorations, a photo booth and a costume contest. Entries in the contest will be voted on May 5 via Facebook, and the winner will receive a $50 Blue Ribbon Girl gift certificate.
