Get to the stunning hike and the Secret Cave Swing at Hummingbird Trail!!

The Hummingbird Trail is a heavily trafficked loop trail, offers a stunning hike through the sparse Rocky Peak landscape situated near Simi Valley. The path offers several activity options and beautiful wildflowers along the way. This trail is best for the seasons between October and May.

This trail is different from any other trail. It is not for the faint-hearted. While it is only a 4-mile loop, it involves a relentless incline and rock scrambling. You should be able to use your GPS to get to the trailhead. You should make sure to obey all signboards and traffic laws when parking.

It is one of the challenging trails because there is no shade available there. You can easily get lost because many small trails lead to nowhere. Also, the soil is loose in some areas that tend to roll downhill.

But, Once you get to the cave thoroughly, you will see the beautiful views of the mountainous desert valley from the hidden cave. It will make the trek worth the effort.

You can enjoy there so many swings. Here, You can see that someone put a lot of colorful work inside this cave. Inside it, you can also see a little hammock hanging from the stone. This graffitied cave and its swing is a popular spot for the Gram because of the incredible views.

Once you make your way back to Grunge Trail, you will land up on Rocky Peak Trail, then back to Hummingbird Trail. You will find lots of mountain bikers and dog owners in the area too. This part of the hummingbird trail can get confusing again. There are multiple trails and tracks all over the place.

Again, here you can also follow the bike tracks and use your GPS tracker to get you down to the bottom.
