Getty center’s doors are open again for its well-known modern architecture and gardens!

L.A's Getty Center is a modern museum with something for everyone: art, modern design, unique gardens, spectacular city views, and many more. The reopening of the Getty Center delights everyone, which had been closed for a year due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It is open on Thursday, June 17.

I came to this museum several times, but Yesterday was my first time after the pandemic when I went there with my husband. We were amazed by seeing its renovations, gentle caretaking of all the interiors this time.

Also, a year of careful horticulture has made the place sparkling, verdant and gorgeous. It felt like a softer return to the museum again.

The admission fee to this museum is still free, though a timed-entry reservation started now. Their architecture, views from the various viewpoints at the center are incredible.

The Outdoors has a stunning garden and multiple fountains and water sites. The Sculptures are scattered all around the grounds. What a great view it had!

We also adore Getty's collection of European and American art from the Middle Ages to the present. The artists in this exhibition, originally people of color, have radically transformed photography to express their aesthetics, identities, and narratives.

Their work is foundational for an emerging generation of artists participating in the Getty Unshuttered program. Their main aim is to engage teens to seek photography as a platform to amplify social topics that resonate in their own lives.

The reason behind this work is outstanding. We appreciated their work a lot.

We enjoyed our visit. I will surely try to go back here again next weekend.
