In 1991, Disneyland welcomed the first bride and groom to exchange vows inside the magical theme park. After that, thousands of romantic couples visited the location to tie the knot or renew vows every year. Despite the uncertainty surrounding COVID weddings, Disney continues to turn dreams into realities for many.

If you’re planning a Disney Fairy Tale wedding in 2021, you’re in luck. The year marks the 30th Anniversary of Disney Weddings and Honeymoons. Prepare to make your big day more memorable by incorporating the latest offerings by this magic kingdom.

Let’s go!

Celebrating 30 Years of Happily-Ever-Afters with Glitz & Glamor

This year, Disney is ready to take these events to new heights as it introduces a brand new line of wedding gowns, wedding rings, headbands, and more.

You can expect the post-pandemic one-stop-shop wedding experience to get sprinkled with lots of pixie dust and a dash of health and social distancing protocols. Additionally, wedding consultants are ready to go the extra mile to ensure that the new rules don’t dampen the party mood.

Here’s a sneak peek of what to expect:

Dress Like a Princess with Bespoke Allure Bridal Gowns

Estimated cost: Starts from $1200

Disney collaborated with Allure Bridals to launch an all-new themed platinum collection on Feb 12. Each wedding gown has embellishments and motifs inspired by your favorite Disney princess.

For instance, Jasmine’s wedding gown features a beaded bodice, an airy tulle-like skirt, and a bohemian style silhouette. In contrast, Tiana’s vintage wedding gown is covered with Jazz-style details and shimmering appliques.

You can notice similar symbolic elements in Cinderella, Ariel, and Pocahontas bridal dresses. All the gowns are available in sizes 0-30 to ensure that every bride feels like a princess on her big day.

What’s more?

Like the wedding event services, the Disney classic ‘Beauty and the Beast’ celebrates three decades of romance in 2021.

That makes Belle the true belle of the ball for this whimsical collection. The designers honor her with three elegant wedding dresses.

· The first one has a soft scoop neckline with a beaded bodice featuring rose appliques. There are almost 1310 beads hand-woven on 75 yards of fabric for this special creation.

· Dazzling details are incorporated in the second Belle gown with over 10000 beads covering the soft pickup skirt. The shimmering tulle is dusted with rose embellishments and lots of sparkle.

· The Platinum Bridal Dress consists of 30000 crystals and beads woven into almost 132 yards of fabric. Intricate details include a lace-up corset with crystal beading outlining its cathedral train and embellished illusion sleeves.

The bridal dresses are styled for comfort and convenience. The chosen fabric includes moisture-wicking and cooling properties that ensure that brides look fresh and radiant after photo sessions and dancing hours.

The complete collection will be available in select bridal boutiques across the US, the UK, Canada, and Mexico. It will be available for purchase within the first week of March.

Exchange Exclusive Disney-Themed Wedding Rings

Estimated cost: It starts from $3000 for engagement rings and $900 for groom bands.

Still looking for the right ring to pop the question?

The Disney wedding shop has a timeless collection of wedding and engagement rings for romantic couples. The exclusive range includes six engagement rings and three groom bands. These iconic designs feature Cinderella’s Pumpkin Coach to character-themed details like crowns, castles, etc.

Each of these rings can be customized according to carat requirements and metal preferences (including white gold, silver, gold, or platinum). The flexibility allows you to incorporate personal details into these exquisite pieces.

Moreover, the team plans to introduce a new one-of-a-kind ring to commemorate the platinum anniversary.

Bridal Headband

One of the cutest traditions of planning a Disney wedding is matching Mickey and Minnie Mouse bridal-themed ears. The newlyweds can don this signature accessory for photo ops. Then save them as wedding mementos years later.

You can do things differently this year with a redesigned bridal headband. The glittery accessory will have a satin band with a tulle veil. Designers have woven pearl accents within the veil to give it a glitzy effect.

Overall, Disney Fairy Tale Weddings and Honeymoon celebrations are all set for this milestone year's magical journey. The question is, can you afford to plan this dream wedding.

The Big Question: How Much Does a Disney Fairy Tale Wedding Cost?

Believe it or not, you can host a Disney wedding without crossing the $5000 mark. You can even plan an intimate event for less if you plan wisely.

Here are a few money-saving tips for planning a Disney wedding:

Timing Is Everything

The day of the week, time, and date of your main events are deciding factors for the final cost. Plan an offseason weekday wedding with daytime activities to cut the cost.

Location. Location. Location.

There are endless venue options available for the engaged couples between the Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa in Hawaii, Disneyland Paris, and Disney Cruise weddings. Select a venue close to home to eliminate travel expenses. Also, calculate the difference between outdoor and indoor options to monitor expenses.

Plan an Intimate Affair

COVID protocols have already confined event planners to organize smaller gatherings. Keep things more intimate by only inviting close friends and family.

Less Is More

Disney venues cost roughly $3000-5000 depending on the location. The additional charges include over-the-top expenses like cake projections, inviting Mickey and Minnie to the reception, and thirty-course banquet meals. If you’re on a budget, stick to services that add value to your big day.

You can tick off add-ons from the final plan.

Once you have a checklist, discuss budget goals with the designated wedding consultant. They will consider the options and develop a customized wedding plan. That way, you can organize an event that incorporates your dream wedding ideas without going overboard.

Pro-tip: Disney Fairy Take Weddings can get planned anywhere between 16 months to four weeks before the big day. Contact the team beforehand to reserve your spot.

Are You Ready for Your Disney Fairy Tale Wedding?

From carriage rides, castle backdrops to princess wedding gowns, many things attract couples to Disneyland. Make the most of this magical venue by becoming part of the platinum celebrations. These limited offerings will fulfill your fantasies and add an extra sparkle to your memorable events.

So what are you waiting for? Gather your mood boards and start planning a Disney Fairy Tale Wedding.
