As the weather starts to warm up and the days get longer, many of us begin to look forward to the summer concert season. And if you're a music lover in the Chicago area, you won't want to miss the incredible lineup of shows coming to the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in Tinley Park this summer.

The Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in Tinley Park, IL, has a rich history of hosting some of the biggest names in music. Legendary shows over the years include Pink Floyd's "Momentary Lapse of Reason", Metallica's "Damaged Justice" and the Rolling Stones' "Bridges to Babylon" tours. The venue is also known for hosting the first Lollapalooza tour in 1991, the final Warped Tour in 2018, and the Grateful Dead's final concert in the Chicago area on July 9, 1995.

Originally known as the World Music Theatre when it opened in 1990, the venue has also been called the New World Music Theatre, the Tweeter Center, and the First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre. Despite the name changes, one thing has remained constant: the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre's status as one of the premier outdoor concert venues in the Chicago area. And the 2023 summer concert schedule is no exception, with a lineup of diverse and exciting acts sure to please music fans of all ages.

First up on the schedule is Janet Jackson and Ludacris on May 27th. This highly-anticipated show is sure to be a hit with fans of both artists. Then, on June 17th, 3 Doors Down takes the stage, followed by TLC, Shaggy, En Vogue, and Sean Kingston on June 23rd.

July is jam-packed with amazing shows, including Shania Twain on the 1st, Dierks Bentley on the 8th, and Big Time Rush, Max, and Jax on the 16th. On July 21st, Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa, and Too Short will perform, followed by Foreigner and Loverboy on the 22nd and Bret Michaels on the 29th.

As we move into August, the lineup remains just as impressive. Gov't Mule takes the stage on the 4th, followed by Mudvayne on the 5th and Matchbox Twenty on the 6th. On August 12th, Eric Church and Cody Jinks will perform, followed by Nickelback, Brantley Gilbert, and Josh Ross on the 18th and Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZZ Top, and Uncle Kracker on the 19th.

Closing out the summer concert season, The Offspring, Simple Plan, and Sum 41 will perform on August 26th, followed by Disturbed, Breaking Benjamin, and Jinjer on August 30th. Finally, on September 1st, Rob Zombie and Alice Cooper will rock the stage, and Pentatonix and Lauren Alaina will perform on the 2nd. Lastly, Jason Aldean, Mitchell Tenpenny, Corey Kent & Dee Jay Silver will close out the 2023 season.
