Lately, I have really gotten back into reading. I’m not sure if anyone else is like me but depending on life and what shows I am binge watching can effect how often I am reading. Over the past year I have found setting reading goals has really improved making sure I sit down and read more often. My kids also love to read. Tripp is learning to read and it is such a cute stage of childhood. My husband on the other hand is big on auditable because he loves to listen to “books on tape” I thought I would put together a list of what my family is reading!

What the kids are reading:

Bob Books: These books are great for early readers and learning sight words.

Magic Tree House Books: A great series of early chapter books. Lots of subjects to read and keeps kiddos interested.

Llama Llama: Annabelle loves the rhyming books so this is a winner!These are my most recent reads or what I have purchased and plan to read this month. There are so many great books to

The Pout Pout Fish: We love this sweet book and the illustrations are some of Annabelle’s favorite. Tripp loved this book when he was younger too.

Donny Helps His Mom: This book is adorable! The kids love Donny!

The Little Girl Who Gave Zero Fucks: This book is a book for all the queen girls. It is so empowering and makes me chuckle too.

What I’m Reading:

Love at First: One of my latest finds. I am really

The Extraordinary Life of Sam Hell: A Novel: This book is SO good. It is heart warming and heart wrenching all at the same time.

Anxious People: A Novel: I am finishing up this book currently and it is really interesting. A very different type of writing but it is suspenseful and quirky!

The Push: A Novel: This painful drama is heart wrenching and a page turner.

The Great Alone: A Novel: This book was amazing and now I have all the books written by this author on my to buy list.

Party at Pinstripes

We can’t believe Tripp is a big FIVE year old. He was so excited to finally celebrate with a big boy birthday party, He LOVES bowling and couldn’t wait to have his friends come toPinstripes. I was excited to have a party that wasn’t at our house. It was so nice to easily choose the menu, balloons and just bring in decor to the facility. Pinstripes staff made the birthday planning and party so easy and fun. Tripp absolutely loved his Party at Pinstripes.

Over the past few months I have fallen in love with a new local organization. Main Event

Over Spring break we took the kids in a fun little adventure in town since we didn’t do any traveling. We decided to give Main Event a try for the first time with them. Our kids are ages 4 (almost 5) and 2.5. It can be really challenging to find good activities for both of them and we not only found that but found something enjoyable for my husband and me too! I am so excited to be partnering with Main Event to share our experience with them.

The other day I had the chance to finally visit Keeks Handbags. If you know me you know I love luxury fashion. I love saving up for a fun purchase and found out about Keeks Handbags through a few mutual bloggers and I knew I had to go. If you are in DFW you should take the time to check out their 10,000 square foot store. Even if you aren’t in DFW everything is listed on their online store. 2020 Best Sellers

Over the last several months I started recapping my monthly best sellers. I think we can all agree that shopping in 2020 totally changed. You had to up your online game but it became easier to find great deals in my opinion. Wee Baby Stella Doll For Big Brother

We were so excited for Tripp to become a big brother. I had been researching ways to help kiddos with the transition of a new baby. One thing that resonated with me was having a “baby” for the big sibling to “help” do things with when you need to tend to the baby. Tripp is ALL about helping and having responsibilities these days so I thought a baby of his own would be perfect.
