Fizzy Blueberry Sour

Gabbing Ginger

I decided to really go out of my normal and try a fun drink recipe. Usually just have easy to grab adult beverages but I wanted to mix it up… literally. I was excited when Empress 1908 Gin gifted me this to try… it really pushed me to try something new. I wanted a light and fun drink so I decided to make a fizzy blueberry sour.

When choosing flavors I know what I love and just fell in love with the color of the Empress 1908 Gin. I think blueberries and lemons have such a refreshingly sour and sweet taste so I thought it would all pair well together. This drink is a perfect refresher drink because it has the right amount of sweet and fizzy!

The Fizzy Blueberry Sour Ingredients:

1.5 oz Empress 1908 Gin

1 tbsp Simple Syrup

2 tbsp fresh squeezed lemon juice

1/2 cup blueberries

The Recipe:

  1. Muddle the blueberries, simple syrup and lemon juice.
  2. Add ice
  3. Add Gin
  4. Shake Well
  5. Strain over ice
  6. Add a splash of Topo Chico
  7. Enjoy

This drink would be perfect on the patio by the fire or for an afternoon treat while you watch your kids play outside. I love that it is crisp and light

Have you tried any fun drink combos lately? Have you had a Fizzy Blueberry Sour before?
