The Proper Pie is a British restaurant specializing in fresh pies.  We visited the new location in Haines City, Florida on their opening weekend.  The pies were a delicious treat and we will be back again real soon.

We had a coupon to use at Honey's Bee Bee Que in Davenport, Florida.  We got a complementary shot of Southern Comfort to start the experience.  In my opinion, that's a fabulous way to start a meal!  Our coupon was for $45 worth of food!  We both got the brisket sandwich.  The brisket was tender and delicious.  Mark got the chili that was made with brisket.  OMG this was heavenly!  I got the mac and cheese which was creamy and tasty.  If you are ever in the area, definitely give Honey's a try!

Shopping around Epcot at Creations. Then walking the queue but not getting on Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind @ Epcot. You don't have to be afraid that they'll force you to get on the rides if you end up being scared to get on. There's always a door at the end before you get on the ride.

We had a lot of fun rummaging around in the Lakeland Antique Mall in Lakeland, FL.  They have everything from salt and pepper shakers to Disney and Universal park props.  If you are on vacation in Orlando and need a break from the parks, you should take the drive to Lakeland and visit this place.  There's so much to see!

We watched the Lakeland Flying Tigers play a baseball game and had brunch in the 34 Club.  The best part for me was the shady seats to block the hot Florida sun.  This was a family friendly outing that didn't break the budget.

We love Universal Studios Orlando, FL.  This past weekend, we enjoyed the Animals on Location show.  The trainers show off the skills of cute dogs, cats, birds and more.  This is a fun show for both kids and adults.

We dined at Mythos Restaurant in Universal Islands of Adventure Park, Orlando Florida.  The food was delicious and well-priced.  Service was fantastic!  It was a bit loud in the restaurant, but we didn't mind.  Park admission is required to dine here. We will definitely return for another great meal at Mythos!

German food served buffet style and live entertainment.  We highly recommend checking out Biergarten in the German Pavilion in Epcot on your next Walt Disney World vacation.

We attended our first Megacon in Orlando, Florida.  It was incredibly crowded and parking was sparse.  For an extra price, we attended a special event where we met four comic book artist, received autographed books and listened to a 45 minute panel.

This was a super cool event that we will attend again in the future.

We purchased a mystery grab bag this weekend just to see what we could get.  Mark has been purchasing comics and whatnots from Krum's since we moved to Florida a year ago.  He and I highly recommend that you check it out if you are into comics, movie memorabilia, slot cars, D&D, Magic the Gathering, etc.
