Perfect CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES Recipe: Slightly Crunchy Outside, Soft & Chewy Inside
There is nothing better than to smell chocolate chip cookies baking in the oven at home. We've been making this recipe since we opened our doors of Tuscan Treats Bakery back in Texas in 2008 and people have been loving them ever since. The perfect balance of slightly crispy edges, but super soft, chewy middles. ❤︎ Theresa & Cam Creates 12 - 24 cookies...depending on how large you like them! Skill level: easy Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough 2/3 cup light brown sugar, packed 2/3 cup granulated sugar 8 tablespoons unsalted butter at room temperature 1/2 cup vegetable shortening 3/4 teaspoon salt 2 teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract 1/4 teaspoon optional almond extract 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 large egg at room temperature 2 cups All-Purpose Flour 2 heaping cups of semisweet chocolate chips and any other ingredient you're ready to throw in...nuts? white chocolate chips? Go for it! Bake 10 - 12 minutes at 375 degrees
