Rainbow Springs State Park

This video shows a brief look around the "day-use" area of Rainbow Springs State Park. This park was originally opened in the 1930s as a privately owned theme park. A zoo, rodeo, several gift shops and a monorail with leaf-shaped gondolas were once a part of this attraction. The doors were closed in 1974 but the place was reopened as a state park in the 1990s and you can still see remnants of an earlier time. It now offers a beautiful spring area to which visitors can enjoy the 72 degree water year round! Take a look if you enjoy these type of parks!
