If you are a resident of Bridgeport, or live anywhere in the state of Connecticut, you've known and loved Luigi's Italian Bakery, including owner John DiMarco, throughout their years of business, serving 3 generations of loyal residents with their love and dedication. Now, The Cannoli Pie Company, which is home to the "Luigi’s original cannoli pie" has been delivering pies, cakes and pastries since they first opened in 1968. Cannoli's are Sicilian pastries, tube-shaped shells of fried pastry dough, filled with a sweet, creamy filling made of ricotta cheese, which is a staple of Sicilian cuisine.
