Another celebrity sighting in Connecticut over the weekend! World Wrestling Entertainment star Ronda Rousey was spotted visiting Pop’s Family Restaurant in Milford, Connecticut on Sunday, the restaurant has confirmed. Pop's is a modern family-run restaurant offering a fantastic breakfast to dinner menu of popular American and Greek dishes. According to the Darien Times "Milford resident Steven Gonza posted a selfie on Facebook with the martial artist, who is smiling and wearing a tie-dye hoodie. Rousey was at the restaurant with her toddler, La'akea, at around 6 p.m., Gonza said. "I’ve always been a huge UFC fan, so, I recognized her as soon as I was seated at my table, next to her table," he said in a message to Hearst Connecticut Media.''
He continued on praising the WWE star "She was super polite and it’s great to know that such a fierce fighting legend like her can be so sweet. It was a pleasure meeting her." The special meeting of the two came before the Monday Night Raw showdown at Hartford's XL Center. ''The WWE wrestling television program airs every Monday on USA Network and features wrestlers hired specifically for RAW competitions, including Rousey." Wrestlers Shayna Baszler and Ronda Rousey defeated Kayden Carter and Katana Chance by submission when Baszler locked Carter in the Kirifuda Clutch.
