The UConn Men's Basketball Team has made Connecticut proud! They made it look extremely easy during the NCAA Tournament. It was UConn vs. Gonzaga with a final score of 82-54, the UConn Huskies dominated and destroyed just as Dan Hurley promised.

According to Sporting News "The Huskies rolled past No. 13 Iona in the first round. They crushed No. 5 Saint Mary's in the second round. They routed No. 8 Arkansas in the Sweet 16. And on Saturday, in their highly anticipated matchup with No. 3 Gonzaga, the No. 4 Huskies put on their most dominant display to date. They outscored the Bulldogs by 21 points in the second half en route to an 82-54 demolition of one of college basketball's most consistent powers and punched their ticket to their first Final Four under Dan Hurley."

"The Huskies appeared to be in control for much of the contest, but the momentum fully swung in their favor when, with 17:39 left in the second half, Gonzaga's Drew Timme was called for his fourth foul. The NCAA Tournament's leading scorer went to the bench and was out for just under three minutes, but during that time, the Huskies feasted, going on a 14-3 run to push their lead to 21."

"Three of UConn's starters racked up double-digit points, with Jordan Hawkins leading all players with 20, Alex Karaban dropping 12 and Adama Sanogo scoring 10 as part of a double-double with 10 rebounds. Timme led all Bulldogs with 12 points, but he was held to just one point after tallying his fourth foul and only three points total in the second half. While the game means the continuation of the 2022-23 season for the Huskies, it also means the end for the Bulldogs, and likely Timme's collegiate career. Timme had an emotional exit from the contest with just under two minutes left to play. He can return for the 2023-24 season, but the record-setting center said he plans to move on."
