Actor Eric Braeden slams his former costar Eva Longoria for alleged negative comments against The Young and The Restless and says to the actress on Twitter "You Simply Weren’t Good Enough!"

His popular character "Victor Newman" doesn't play on the CBS soap and apparently Eric Braeden doesn't either. The Young and the Restless star doesn't step down, regardless of who it is.

According to Daytime Confidential "Braeden went off on former Y&R star Eva Longoria (ex-Isabella) on Twitter, where he accused the Desperate Housewives actress of dissing the show. Longoria appeared on "Who's Talking to Chris Wallace" a joint venture with HBO Max and CNN. Her interview aired over the weekend, where she talked about motherhood, marriage, and her political activism and career."

The actress stated ‘'I was so good at it that when I got Young and the Restless, it didn’t pay enough for me to live off being an actor. So I continued being a headhunter and Young and the Restless.’'
"She then revealed that she, ‘would hide the fact that I was on Young and the Restless to my clients, because they, you know, they didn’t want like a dumb actress handling their accounts.’'

Eric Braeden's response to the actress from his official Twitter account;
"EVA LONGORIA: you just made derogatory remarks about daytime actors! You simply weren’t good enough to survive the pressures of this medium! You were very lucky to get on that “housewife” show! You did one show in 8-12 days, with mediocre but salacious dialogue! Our actresses would run rings around you!! And they did then!! From Robert di Nero to whoever they all are, many of them started in the medium you denigrate! It shows a complete lack of class!!"

Eva Longoria has yet to respond to her former co star.
