This easy Cinnamon Roll Monkey Bread Bake is so simple to put together. It only takes 30 minutes which makes it perfect for your Christmas morning breakfast or brunch and can also be a delicious sweet treat any time of the day!

Here is a little history about Monkey Bread "Monkey bread (also known by other names including plucking cake, pull-apart bread, and bubble bread) is a soft, sweet, sticky pastry served in the United States for breakfast or as a treat. It consists of pieces of soft baked dough sprinkled with cinnamon. It is often served at fairs and festivals" according to Wikipedia.

Here is the quick and easy recipe I use from Let's Dish Recipes.

2 (17.5 oz.) cans Pillsbury Grands cinnamon rolls (any brand of cinnamon rolls will do)
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons maple syrup

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
In a large zip-top bag, mix together granulated sugar and cinnamon.

Cut cinnamon rolls into quarters and place the pieces in the bag with the cinnamon and sugar mixture. Toss to coat well.

Arrange the cinnamon roll pieces in the prepared pan.

In a medium bowl, stir together the melted butter, brown sugar and maple syrup.

Pour evenly over the cinnamon roll pieces.

Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.

Remove from oven and drizzle with the frosting from the cinnamon roll packages. Serve warm.
