Academy Award winner Matt Damon and his Argentinian-born wife Luciana Barroso have one of the most interesting beginnings to a relationship of any Hollywood couple I have heard of. She shared their first interaction with one another with Vogue Australia in May 2018.
She recounted the evening she worked as a bartender in Miami when Matt and the film crew came in for a quick drink. “Matt’s story is that he saw me across the room and there was a light on me. And I’m like, ‘Yeah it was a nightclub—there were lights everywhere!’' according to Brides.com. This was their very first encounter, she helped hide him behind the bar, away from his fans and the paparazzi and the rest, as they say, is history.
Married since 2005, the couple decided to move their family of six to New York last summer, leaving the west coast, where the previously lived with their four daughters; 11 year old Stella, 13 year old Gia, 15 year old Isabella and 23 year old Alexia from Luciana's fist marriage, who Matt thinks of as his own child. He tells People of his excitement to move back to the big apple ''We Can't Wait to Move Back Here.''
According to Daily Voice The former California couple purchased the $8.5 million colonial in the quaint, little town of Bedford Hills, in Westchester County, New York. The couple's 13.5 acres of lavish estate includes; boardwalks, a hiking trail, a stream along with a spring-fed pond, a shoreline saltwater pool, a greenhouse, antique barn, rope bridges and a tennis court.
