The Slaughter Creek Trail in Austin is located on Austin's Water Quality Protections Land. It's history is just as diverse as the trail path itself. Mary Gay Maxwell, an environmental conservation defender, played an instrumental role in protecting some of Austin's unique environmental features and lands.
