Greetings my Fitlife Friends!  Enjoy this little hike to Makapu'u Point in Hawaii!

Makapu’u Point Lightouse Trail is along the Kalanianaole Highway; also Hwy. 72, at the southeastern-most point of Oahu. From the Honolulu area, take the H1 freeway east until it becomes Highway 72. Continue to follow past Hawaii Kai.

From the windward side, take the Kalanianaole Highway southeast beyond Kailua, Waimanalo, and Makapu‘u Beach Park, after which the road climbs up toward Makapu‘u Head. The park will be on the left side of the highway.

This local small hidden gem offers tranquility, Indian history, & pretty views at Emerson Point

My hiker friend sent this video and told me that the bird's beak looked broken off at the tip. It did finally perk up and fly up into a tree, then off it went into the sky.

*Walk to 2nd flight, airport no. 2
*Climb tall stair cases at Airport no.3 Dallas
* 4 hours in @dfwairport and enjoyed it.
**Rode the Skylink around the different gates.
** Discovered the Yoga Lounge at Gate E
** Returned to the delicious Cantina Laredo for dinner.
** Enjoyed a little entertainment music with the Free Wifi. 
** Read a good book and get lost in it.

The perfect layover in Dallas Airport enjoying this Mexican Cuisine at Cantina Laredo

Enjoy this beautiful He'eia State Park in Hawaii. This park offers lovely views of the water, and the Hula Mounds are perfect for weddings and special events.  The unique aspect of this park is that there is a small area that is blocked off because these are the place where sacred burial grounds are located. 

You can take a short walk around the park and soak in the lookouts of He'eia Fishpond, views out to the Kane'ohe Bay. Canoeing and kayaking are great to really indulge in this nature park.
