Metropolitan Grill
I visited Metropolitan Grill for dinner a few nights back while in Seattle. Metropolitan Grill came highly recommended to us by our friend whom had eaten there the night before. The ordering, customer service, quality and taste of food we are so happy we did. The steaks looked like they were sous vide (cooked vacuum sealed in a water bath which is typical for steak restaurants and an awesome way to prepare steaks), and then grilled with these very nice char marks at a super high heat just so that they have grill marks (not to cook them any further). This means your steak has the flavor of the grill, and can be finished on your grill/stove at home. The ribeyes were super easy to finish off, but the delmonico required a sear and then some oven time since they were so thick cut. The employees were all so helpful and polite, I loved the atmosphere and was so happy with my choice to celebrate here, it was remarkable!

FOB Poke Bar is, by far, my favorite poke spot outside of Hawaii! Their portion sizes here are extremely generous, so you really get your money's worth. I got a regular rice bowl, which came with two scoops of your protein of choice and it was huge! My bowl left me feeling really satisfied and filled. The fish was very fresh, and so were the toppings. Service was very fast so if you're ever in a rush to get a meal this is the place! I wasn't completely WOW'd by this place to give a full five stars, but I was overall happy I found this place. Ultimately, I would recommend if you're nearby and craving some poke.

We stopped in for two sandwiches and one was really good and one was not so good! The cubana sandwich was really good but the meatball sandwich left a lot to be desired! Both were fresh and quality items and the service was good! The bread was really good on both sandwiches! Maybe if they dug out some of the inside before filling the sandwich, that would solve it. Otherwise, prices are reasonable for a good amount of filling. I'd recommend going more for their cured meats instead of the porchetta. While it was tender, it lacked flavor that the cured meats carried. The original salami was tasty and I'll be back to get more. The staff also didn't acknowledge me the entire time I was there, even though 3 of them made eye contact and looked away. But, with a few tweaks, and a little re-socialization training, and I think this could be a regular spot.

Man, what an experience! Everything was seriously so good but the burrata and baguette appetizer and salmon pasta were life changing omg. The texture of the pasta was perfectly al dente and i feel like the shape of the pasta was the perfect vessel for the delicious creamy sauce. Sourdough pasta blew my mind. It was relatively heavier but VERY flavorful. We got their sourdough pizza - Nonna Maria - classic sourdough pizza and sourdough pasta - basil almond pesto - this pesto was incredible, the hint of almond added the richness to it. Definitely can't wait to explore more of the menu next time.

I've been wanting to go to list for quite some time. Greeted with warm welcomes from staff. Cool vibes, super clean, elegant yet casual. Cool house music playing but not so loud so you can actually have convos with your bestie. We had- Meatballs delish! Comes with 2 large balls (ha ha balls) and some awesome sauce and shaved fresh parm. Gnocchi with truffles insane. Comfort food without the heavy weight in your tummy. Truffle flavor just enough which was perfection. I could have had 3 plates of this .Tomato and blue cheese. Dusted with capers, red onion drizzle of some amazing infused oil yum! Perfect for July summer tomato season.Clams in a tomato based broth with lemon and jalapeño. Perfectly seasoned fresh clams. Nice focaccia to mop up the broth. Yum! Rose all day not too sweet perfect with the foods. My friend had the local seattle cider on draft perfectly chilled and not too sweet or sour. What a great find! I’ d come back each week if I lived here. Bravo! Dont't pass this up just go and enjoy!! Perfect for date nite, colleague or business dinner or just come sit at the bar, have some terrific eats, strike up a convo with the staff and support local!

I recently started getting breakfast to-go on the weekends from Tilikum Place Cafe. And I love it. I love the experience. I ordered the sweet and savory Dutch baby to go, and was surprised by how good it tasted still. I personally will pass on the savory Dutch baby next time, it wasn't anything special, and lacked in flavor, but the hot sauce with it is really good. I really enjoyed the sweet Dutch baby though, it had berries and the perfect about of chocolate chips inside to satisfy my sweet tooth. Great spot if you're looking for a good sit down dinner!

We were hungry for a quick bite after our ferry ride and decided to come here. What a great decision! As soon as we opened the box, the aroma was just fantastic. And the pizza was just as good as it smelled!! I'm usually really picky with thinner crusted pizza, but this was seriously so delicious and I actually enjoyed the crust! The flavors mixed really well and there wasn't too much of anything. I shared one pizza with my boyfriend but if I was hungrier, I think I could've eaten a lot more. So if you are really hungry, I would order one to eat for yourself. Definitely didn't think to try pizza in Seattle but this place was really great!

The combination of flavors and textures of Un Bien's sandwiches are divine! The location that my friends and I went to was on 15th Ave NW in Ballard, located across of Sazon Kitchen. There's also a waterfront location. Only street parking around the area, no lot to park at. There's also a small seating area for customers with a water jug available. The product is so superior. That carribean roast pork sandwich is just in it's own league. The sandwich was about half a foot long, cut into two. The smell of the sandwich was intoxicating. The juicy pork, thick caramelized onions, the spread, butter lettuce, on a toasted bread. It was just so amazing. I thought I wouldn't be able to finish the sandwich with my small stomach, but I basically inhaled that meal. This has to be on everyones must visit places in Seattle. I can't wait to come back again to fulfill my cravings.

Storyville Coffee Company is a popular spot for coffee lovers and people to hang out or work. It's pretty quiet here considering the hustle and bustle of what's going on at Pike Place. There was a bit of a line when we got here. The actual shop is on the third floor and not visible from the street. Once you get to the front of the line they are pretty quick and super friendly! The ambiance is nice; imagine a Seattle coffeehouse and this is exactly that. Soft music, comfy leather couches, low lighting. One of the absolute best coffees I've ever tasted. My go to is an almond milk latte and this was truly perfect - smooth, creamy, velvety texture with a bold coffee forward flavor that honestly tasted like chocolate. A good place to sit and relax after Pike Market.

After walking by Le Panier frequently on the way to get Piroshky, I finally caved and bought some french pastries + savory items from Le Panier! The service was quick, there's currently no sit-in areas, and they require masks for guests. There was a bit of a line, but it went fairly quickly. The price point is also fairly reasonable for what you get. Classic, crispy almond croissant. My friend who likes almond croissants but doesn't get sweets too often said it's the best one she's had yet. The outside was definitely crispy and fresh, and the inside had a good layer of almond paste. They make the classics well. If you're craving french pastries, this is a great place to go!

We came for happy hour and we were very happy during that hour. The food was great. The service was amazing. They have good sushi and good rolls for a decent price that won't break the bank. They try to incorporate some mexican flavors which i love. Overall the sushi was pretty solid, but I didn't really like the spider roll. There was so much breading in the "karaage soft shell crab", I honestly couldn't tell if there was any crab. I only tasted fried breading. This seems like a cool place for sushi to dine in with friends, but if I'm craving some sushi takeout, there are other spots I'd rather hit up.

We had the #1 Famous pork sandwhich and the ham and cheese. Both super delicious and packed with all the good stuff. You can probably share the #1 unless you're really hungry. Both come with caramelized onions and pickled peppers or jalapenos. I'd ask for more on the pork sandwich to add a bit more zip. The pork was tender and pulled apart while the garlic aioli and caramelized onions really rounded out the sandwich. For a meaty sandwich, it was still able to provide a lot of freshness with the cilantro and other veggies. It was reminiscent of a vietnamese banh mi in regards to the freshness but obviously had a different flavor profile of the pork. It's located in the Fremont area which is a little north of downtown Seattle but do make the trip especially if you are in the area.

I arrived at Piroshky Piroshky early in the morning, so the line wasn't outrageously long. A must visit place in seattle. It's a small shop, with lot of fresh baked goods right from the hot oven. The staff are very friendly and polite. I ordered the beef and cheese piroshky and really enjoyed it. It was served fresh and warm and the flavor profile was amazing. There are many, many options to choose from (even vegan). They're about $7 a piece which is a bit pricey but I'm glad I tried them and I think they're worth trying if you have never had Russian pastries before!

What the heck is a crumpet? It's like an English muffin, but more buttery and soft, almost like a biscuit. All you need to know is it's crump-a-licious! We got an English cheese, egg and tomato along with an egg, English cheese and ham. Both were fantastic! Not sure what differentiates "English cheese" from what appeared to be cheddar cheese visually, except the cheese was nice and oily and thick and yummy! Very friendly and patient service. We managed to grab one of the few tables available on the street and it was fun/interesting to watch all the people, dogs and cars go by. Ingredients were clearly homemade with love, they use organic flour and the highest quality. Love that everything in this city is compostable, including the "plastic" silverware. They make these fresh but we didn't have to wait long. Make sure to get napkins and one s plenty for most appetites because they are so buttery and rich. Get a few and share!

This is an older place but it was well taken care of and well-maintained and it was clean. Coming back from work, turning on the fire, and relaxing on the super comfortable bed made it so much easier to be away from home, and there was truly nothing I could have wanted that was not provided. While it is not a studio apt., it has a space bigger than many studio apts. As described, there is no real kitchen, but there is plenty of equipment for light cooking, toasting, reheating, etc. Parking is easy, and I just parked in the open parking area rather than the designated covered spot. A wide variety of restaurants are within walking distance, including coffee and convince stores. A wide variety of restaurants are within walking distance, including coffee and convince stores. Love this shop - everytime I'm in the neighborhood inevitably I drop in and find myself slowly smelling all the candles and soaps and wishing I had a lot more money to spend here. It's part curiosity shop, part vintage art shop. They lean towards specializing into more of the curiosity side of gifts. In the front of the shop, you have coffee table books on centuries past fashion, anatomy, fortune telling, astrology, and vintage themed pictionary dictionaries. You can also find specialty soaps, lotions, and cedarwood & lemongrass sage bundles, tea and dish sets. In the back, they have vintage/antique post cards, posters, vintage scissors, and an abundant variety of writing tools! My favorite of the writing tools are the 'field note' mini notebooks and the group of grid, lined, and sketchbook notebooks that are of great quality. I highly recommend taking a peak around, especially if you're a mixed media artist or creative entrepreneur. You're sure to find something, even if it's a neat and unique decoration for your space.

These guys are seriously the best with kids. My son is incredibly intolerant of most things like this and he went through the whole teeth cleaning, X-rays, etc. perfectly fine. Everyone at this office is awesome! I always feel like my child is in good hands. It's great to be in a place where everyone is happy, laughing and enjoying their day! I'm thrilled that our child loves going to the dentist. I really wish I had a place like this when I was a kid! I seriously can't say enough good things about the team. Oh and we played in the waiting room after forever. You need to schedule your appointments before you leave the office to get a time that works because they are so busy. But worth the wait!

There are so many different hiking trails at Saint Edward State Park! It is fun to have so many options in terms of forest or beach, playground or grassy fields, and various levels of hiking difficulty. It's not super crowded on week day afternoons, and even week-ends aren't too bad in terms of crowding, especially considering that this is one of the nicest local parks in the area. Many visitors take their dogs along the trails. There is tons of green grass and picnic tables as well as miles of hiking trails all over ranging from easy to difficult. I went down to the waterfront via hiking trail and it wasn't too bad for .6 miles down and back. A restroom at the waterfront is also helpful for those with young kids after the hike down. The trials offer views of huge beautiful moss trees and tons of plants to admire. If you go hiking I'd recommend bringing at least water and snacks and to be sure you wear the correct hiking footwear. On the more advanced hiking trails good hiking shoes/boots are very important since advanced trails can be quite difficult with steep inclines and some heavy mud areas. They offer a lot of parking spaces and an onsite debit terminal to pay for a one day or yearly Discover Pass. I'd definitely recommend visiting this park often.

The Frye Art Museum is the perfect thing to do if you're looking for free things to do in Seattle. The museum inside located in Seattle's First Hill area. The museum has the art collection of Charles and Emma Frye, who were business leaders and enjoyed collecting art. They also have free tours. The collection is wonderful. There are also contemporary exhibits. There's a nice little cafe in the museum. The building is really cool. The main collection has mostly German art from the late 19th centuries and early 20th centuries. Charles Frye died in 1940 and donated his collection to the city. The museum opened in 1952. The building was designed by Rick Sundberg. Anyway, I highly recommend checking this museum out if you are a modern art lover visiting Seattle, even for a day. It's much less of a commitment, honestly!
