When summer rolls around, your grocery bill can skyrocket if you have kids. During the school year, they might get free breakfast and lunch at school. But what about during their summer vacation?
Summer Meal Program for Kids
Summer Break Spot offers free meals and snacks to children and teens up to age 18, regardless of income. The meals are served at designated locations all over the county, making them easily accessible no matter where you live.
The great thing about this program is that no registration is required. There's nothing to fill out. Any child can simply show up and will be provided a meal or a snack.
The program is funded through the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA’s) Summer Food Service Program.
