Bottom fishing Part 3: Lingcod and rockcod fishing

Today I went fishing with my Buddy Jeff Lee on his beautiful Arima Pilot House. We launched out of Half Moon Bay Harbor and headed 25 miles south from the harbor. We fished at Franklin Point for lingcods and rockcods. we caught 2 lingcods early in the morning and concentrated on catching rockcods. My friend in Oregon sent me over a dozen swimbaits and I used the swimbaits with the Japanese shrimp fly on the high and low rig and we were able to catch 20 rockcods in 3 hours. I really like the lures. At 11 AM, Jeff and I decided to go back to HMB to troll for salmon. After 3 hours of trolling, we did not get any luck and decided to end the fishing trip at 3 PM. I had a great day fishing with my buddy and I really appreciate Jeff for taking me on this awesome trip. Instagram: Thuy fishing 247 FACEBOOK: Email:
