[VIDEO] Elmwood Park, NJ Firefighters battle 2 alarm fire on Oak Street.

ELMWOOD PARK, NJ - At approximately 6:30pm on January 7, 2023, the Elmwood Park Fire Department was dispatched to 6 Oak Street for a reported structure fire. First companies on scene found a working fire in a 2 story occupied residence. Radio traffic reported a fire in the basement with smoke filling up the 1st and 2nd floors. A 2nd alarm was called bringing in apparatus and members from Garfield. There were no reported injuries to residents at the time of this writing, but firefighters rescued pets from the structure and rendered oxygen to them on scene.
