[VIDEO] Bridgeport, CT Firefighters battle 2 alarm fire in a 3-family house on Seaview Ave.

BRIDGEPORT, CT - At approximately 4:40pm on December 1, 2022, the Bridgeport Fire Department received multiple calls for a fire in a 3-family house at 2168 Seaview Avenue. Ladder 10 was first on scene reporting heavy fire showing from the rear of the 3 1/2 story wood frame multi-family house. All occupants appeared to have self evacuated, but fire personnel rescued several kittens and a dog from the blaze. Unfortunately there were reports that at least one cat perished in the fire. At one point in the 2 alarm fire, members were evacuated from the building due to worsening fire conditions. By the time recall was put in, members had battled fire on all 3 1/2 floors of the structure.
