[VIDEO] Bridgeport, CT Firefighters battle 2 alarm fire on Federal St.

BRIDGEPORT, CT - At appoximately 4:00am on November 15, 2022, the Bridgeport Fire Department was dispatched to 160 Federal Street for a house fire. Police arriving on scene reported people trapped in the basement and 3rd floor. First fire companies arrived and found heavy fire showing from the 2nd and 3rd floors of a 2 1/2 wood. Searches immediately started for the reported trapped residents on the 3rd floor and basement and proved to be false, with no living space on the 3rd floor. Soon, the fire consumed the complete attic space and members were evacuated to set up for an exterior attack. In all, the fire would reach a 2nd alarm before being put under control.
