33-year-old mom Ella Goodie lived in Scott, Louisiana with her two children.
Ella worked as a Lyft driver and she also gave rides for money off the platform. She was last heard from on March 9, 2022, at noon when she called her brother and told him that she was going to drop off a passenger in Houston, Texas. He reported Ella missing when she failed to return home.
Ella's passenger was 37-year-old Brandon Fransisco, to who she had given rides in the past. That day, she was working off the platform. Authorities confirmed that Ella's car made it to Houston. 12 hours later, it was spotted back in Louisiana and on March 10, it was seen in Dallas, Texas.
Ella's black 2012 Audi Q5 SUV was eventually located on April 1, 2022, but Ella was nowhere to be found. Her phone last pinged in Iowa, Louisiana. One year later, the search for Ella continues.

In 2022, Brandon was convicted of several crimes. He made bail and was supposed to begin serving a 30-year sentence the day Ella went missing. He is now in custody.
