On January 26, 2022, 24-year-old nursing grad Alexis Gabe failed to return home to the Oakley, California, apartment where she lived with her parents.

Alexis was last seen by her ex-boyfriend at his Antioch home on Benttree Way. The pair dated for three years before breaking up in late 2021. The unnamed man told authorities Alexis left his house at 9 pm.

Alexis’s light blue Infinity was found abandoned 4.9 miles away on Trenton Street in Oakley the next day. The driver’s side door was wide open and the keys were in the ignition yet there was no sign of Alexis.

Surveillance cameras captured an unidentified individual parking Alexis’s car at 9:30 pm — authorities are still investigating who that person was.

On February 4, authorities executed a search warrant at the home of Alexis’s ex-boyfriend. Several bags of evidence and a vacuum were seized.

Alexis was last seen wearing a white tank top, black jeans and green and white Jordan sneakers. She is 5'7" and 170 pounds. If you have any information regarding her disappearance, please contact the Oakley Police Department at 925-625-8060.

“This doesn’t feel real. I’m seeing her poster all over the place and I’m seeing her on the news. My parents from the start we’re just extremely worried. It just is getting worse and worse, now a lot more darker thoughts are starting to enter my parent’s minds…support from family and friends has been huge. If we didn’t have that I don’t know if we’d be able to do this. It’s pretty much indescribable. There’s no words.” — Alexis’s older brother, Gwyn
