See this Double Waterfall off of the Blue Ridge Parkway | North Carolina Hiking Series Ep 9

Soco Falls is located between Maggie Valley and Cherokee in North Carolina on the Cherokee Indian Reservation. The parking area is only 1.5 mi off of the Blue Ridge Parkway. The waterfall is so close to the road that you can hear it when you park. Hiking to Soco Falls only takes a couple minutes from Highway 19. There is a nice deck to view the waterfall from afar, but depending on what time of year it is, only one waterfall may be visible. For those who are more adventurous, there is a rocky path with ropes that leads down to the base of the waterfalls where both falls can be viewed. Would you scramble down the rocks to get a closer view of Soco Falls? For more hiking content be sure to watch this series from the beginning!
