Free Hiking Trail in Chimney Rock State Park | North Carolina Hiking Series Ep 2
Chimney Rock State Park in North Carolina offers many options when it comes to hiking trails. In this episode we share our experience hiking the Rumbling Bald loop trail in Chimney Rock State Park. Rumbling Bald offers free hiking trails, but it is more known for being a destination for rock climbing. The giant boulders and rock faces offer many climbing routes and problems for climbers. Rumbling Bald is located in Chimney Rock State Park between Lake Lure and Chimney Rock. Even though we didn't have our climbing gear with us, we still enjoyed the 1.5 mile loop trail.
