28-year-old Bryan Christopher Kohberger was arrested earlier today in Albrightsville, Pennsylvania, about 2,500 miles away from the gruesome Idaho murders of 4 college students. The FBI & a police SWAT team raided a home inside a gated community in Albrightsville around 3 AM.

While being taken into custody, Kohberger reportedly asked police if "anyone else had been taken into custody." According to Inside Edition, Kohberger will remain behind bars in Pennsylvania until an extradition hearing next Tuesday.

The big break comes seven weeks after police discovered the bodies of Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Ethan Chapin, and Xana Kernodle. Since then, the entire nation has been obsessed and reporting on the case; multiple newscasts even broke out or regular scheduling to report on the arrest.

Kohberger is a Ph.D. in Criminal Justice at Washington State University in Pullman, just eight miles from Moscow, Idaho, where the gruesome murders occurred. Kohberger reportedly researched criminal minds and reached out to career criminals in a Reddit post. In the Reddit post, he wrote, "My name is Bryan. I'm inviting you to participate in a research project to understand how emotions and psychological traits influence committing a crime."

Just weeks ago, Idaho police were criticized for the pace of the investigation and the amount of information they released, with many people across the nation worried that the case would turn cold. But today, Idaho police are claiming a triumph in arresting America's most wanted suspect.

No comments have been made by Pennsylvania or Idaho police about a possible motive for the murders.
