5 Atlanta Restaurants Offering $5 Meal Deals

Atlanta, GA. - The cost of living in Atlanta is nearly 10% higher than the national average. And food plays a big part of that. Especially, going out to eat at restaurants.

Luckily, those in the Atlanta metro area still have affordable options to dine out. In fact, these five restaurants all offer meal deals for $5, which usually includes a main entree, at least one side, and a drink.

1. Wendy's

Wendy's has several locations in the Atlanta area. Currently, the fast food chain is offering the $5 Biggie Bag to go, which includes the following items:

• Your choice of a Jr Bacon Cheeseburger, Crispy Chicken BLT, or Double Stack
• 4-pice chicken nuggets
• Small fries
• Small drink

As mentioned, you do have to order this meal to go.

2. Burger King

For a limited time in 2023, participating Burger King restaurants are offering the $5 Your Way meal deal. It includes the following:

• Your choice of either a Bacon Cheeseburger, Whopper, Jr, or Chicken Jr sandwich
• Small order of French fries
• 4-piece chicken nuggets
• Small soft drink

3. Taco Bell

Taco Bell is another favorite among fast food goers on a budget. The restaurant is offering a couple different $5 meal deals in 2023.

1. $5 Crispy Chicken Quesadilla Box
2. $5 Cravings Deal boxes

4. Cracker Barrel

One of the most popular restaurants in the Atlanta area, Cracker Barrel, is offering a few different $5 Take Home Meals. As you can guess by the name, these meals are to go.

1. Fried Homestyle Chicken and Mac N' Cheese
2. Meat Loaf and Mac N' Cheese
3. Smokey Grilled Chicken and Mashed Potatoes

Now, there is one big catch. You can only order a $5 Take Home Meal when you are already dining in at Cracker Barrel.

For example, let's say you are eating lunch at Cracker Barrel. You could order a $5 Take Home Meal to eat for dinner later that evening at home. Even with that requirement, you are still getting a meal for 5 bucks.

5. Dairy Queen

Finally, Dairy Queen no longer offers a complete meal (sandwich, fries, drink and sundae) for $5. However, you can still fill up there for 5 bucks.

For example, you can get 1 cheeseburger and 1 order of fries (and a free water) for $5. Normally, cheeseburgers are $4.79 each, so that's still a big savings.

You can also get a chili dog and order of fries (and a free water) for $5.
